I tend to nerd out on things, and a recent goal of mine is to try to reduce the number of hobbies I involve myself in. For example, I constantly need to restrain myself from buying a pan and taking up amateur gold prospecting. In my legal career, I tap into my versatility to advise clients on all kinds of commercial and transactional matters, including emerging company transactions, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions. I’m also energized by working with many types of clients, from life sciences and tech companies to the angel investors, venture firms, and private equity funds that finance them. Outside of work, I will stick with raising my children, playing golf, watching hockey, cooking, and DIY home renovations.
