Over nearly 15 years, I’ve built a significant transactional practice working with US and international innovators in the technology, health care, life sciences, and energy sectors. As a strategic advisor to start-ups and emerging companies, I provide experienced counsel on entity formation, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and other key corporate matters. I have lived in each of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Belize, Canada, Japan, and the United States for at least one year. Each of my two kids has an American passport, a Canadian passport, and a Person of Indian Origin Card. I am hoping to teach the kids many languages, including Arabic, English, French, Hindi, Mandarin and Spanish, so they can make very successful spy movies.
If I weren’t a lawyer, I would be … trying to help my wife develop her singing career (so I could then manage it).
My favorite app is … WhatsApp. It allows me to keep in touch with friends and family across the globe, irrespective of whether they use an iPhone or Android device.
The most unusual thing in my office is … a miniature replica of the Stanley Cup, which stands in a glass case.
If I were starting a company … it would help you find lost items (but not the way Tile or Trackr are approaching the problem)!
